300 limited tri-pack completely sold out.

remaining quantity is not so much especially for lenti edition.

please be hurry to order, after price promotion, price will be increased.

Yeah, but I have an amazon.ca Visa card. I believe they don't charge the forex if I'm not mistaken. Thats one of the benefits and reason I got it.

Paypal automatically exchanges USD to CAD and adds their own forex charge unless you choose otherwise. That's one possible explanation, although 3-4% doesn't quite cover $10 CAD. I doubt it has anything to do with KimchiDVD though. Obviously I'm assuming you used Paypal (maybe you didn't).

Also, strange that the Amazon.ca Visa card doesn't charge forex. The American one does :T

I'm not complaining about the price on the Tri pack BUT...I don't like the fact the price was raised after being told it was going to be $100.90
The whole purpose of getting the bundle was to get a discount compared to buying the copies individually. Even Blufans star trek Tri pack was cheaper in the same regards. So that was a negative indeed especially since shipping isn't cheap.

Actually the purpose of the bundle changed when they decided to add in tri-pack extras and ensure they were numbered 1-300. It went from a "slight bargain" to a "premium product" and hence the price rose accordingly (the extras are only $4 over buying each separately). Also, the price was officially listed at $109 well before preorders opened, so it's not like they were trying to trick us or anything.

I used Visa directly, no paypal. Although now I feel I maybe should have gone with paypal as the fees would have been less.

In the past when I order from zavvi with my Amazon.ca card I notice I pay a dollar or two less than my friend who uses his regular Visa card.

I ordered my B, but i didnt know if i should of put gift or merchandise so i just left it as it was with the regular invoice i just hope i dont get charged customs tax

Under what circumstances would EMS have been the only shipping option for this morning's Amelie purchases? I didn't see an obvious way to select K-Packet this morning. Is there a weight limit for using K-Packet (I remember hearing something about that at one point), or did I just completely miss the option and subsequently overpaid for shipping? :-(

I had keyed my Amazon.ca Visa Card and they gave me the option of using US or CDN funds. I ended up using Paypal as it was a difference of $4.00 CDN.

I have never been charged any customs tax when ordering from Kimchi. And I always choose the regular invoice. Been lucky that way for me being in Canada. Hopefully you are not in the UK as they seem to be "toasted" by their customs officials.

Blufans Tri pack was more than a premium product and their price was cheaper than the individual steels. The purpose of bundling is to SAVE. Plain and simple. Not complaining about the price but it needed to be cheaper than the singles combined.

There is an option, the first option in the shipping area. It is defaulted to EMS though. You would select the K-Packet. That is what I did.

When I was trying to order, I got a tri-pack and one of each types A, B and C and the only shipping method available was EMS. I guess it's because of the weight and value.

When I couldn't check it out due to errors and ordered just the three types individually, K-Packet and TNT became available.

Hey, you got more stuff for an extra $4. It doesn't seem something worth complaining about. They weren't even going to offer a bundle in the first place. It was just there for convenience so that people who wanted all three could add just one item in their carts, which is especially crucial when KimchiDVD's servers are being overloaded. There is absolutely no obligation for them to discount it at all. If you didn't think the extra $4 was worth it, all you had to do was buy each steelbook individually.

Choi, do you know if the Tri-Pack will be numbered ?
It would be awesome if the Box set and the 3 Steelbooks had the same number.

how long does it usually take to get an e-mail answer? I have the "Receipt of Order" status in my account. I paid by credit card. I wrote him at 14.00.

I'm in the same situation as this guy. I've emailled kimchi (and Tony directly) about my order being stuck in this state but no change yet.

Choi - any word on what normally happens here? I have an order number so assume it will be fine.

And I'm in the opposite situation. Accidentally placed twice... One says "payment received", one just "receipt of order". Both charges went through on paygate.

I emailed, hopefully can straighten it out soon and get one (and only one!) cancelled.

All of you guys are missing the point of bundling. When you get some experience with sales and retail, then you might understand the concept. They can sell each one of those Tri packs for $300 each and it would be worth it.... Value has nothing to do with it.
