Kids 6 and under are admitted for free. Mega tickets are $295 and include admission during all Anime NYC hours and access to various special guest appearances and exclusive events. Attendees who purchase tickets by October 15 will receive their passes in the mail; attendees who purchase tickets after October 15 will pick up passes at Anime NYC. Members of Crunchyroll Premium are eligible to receive a $10 discount on tickets as well as rewards throughout the convention.

Anime NYC powered by Crunchyroll, New York’s largest dedicated anime convention, returns to the Javits Center (655 W 34th Street, Manhattan) with an expansive and diverse celebration of anime and Japanese culture from Friday, November 16 through Sunday, November 18, 2018. Show attendees can expect much more from Anime NYC this year – more exclusive screenings; iconic creators and industry leaders; the latest in Japanese gaming technology; and show-stopping performances from Japan’s hottest stars. Tickets are available at with general admission tickets priced from $40-65, and Mega tickets priced at $295 guaranteeing access to premiere programming and special guests.

In response to growing fan demands, LeftField Media has expanded the scope and offerings at Anime NYC 2018 in partnership with international animation and manga publishers including Aniplex, Bandai Namco, Crunchyroll, Denpa, Kodansha, Sentai Filmworks, Vertical, VIZ Media, and Yen Press. New this year, more companies direct from Japan including Studio Trigger, King Records, and Pony Canyon will take over double the hall space to accommodate additional programming. In 2017, the convention’s inaugural year, Anime NYC welcomed over 20,000 attendees from 38 states and 10 countries across the globe gathering to share a love of anime, manga, and Japanese culture. Fans attending this year will love exciting additions to the show like the Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel] Special Event featuring Aimer and Fate’s U.S. cast, Gunpla Builders World Cup, Manga Library, and Natsume Yujin-cho U.S. Premiere.

Anime NYC also expands outside of the Javits Center for new special performances as a part of the show, including the first ever Anisong World Matsuri concert in NYC, featuring headlining Japanese pop stars Luna Haruna, Shoko Nakagawa, Morning Musume。’18, and New York native nano. Anisong World Matsuri is the largest Japanese concert series in the history of New York City, and it will take over the Hammerstein Ballroom on November 16 and 17.

Anime NYC is proud to host guests from Japan’s famed creative animation studio Studio TRIGGER. Studio TRIGGER is regarded as one of the most stylish and creative animation studios in Japan, with its titles including Kill la Kill, Space Patrol Luluco, Kiznaiver, Little Witch Academia, Inferno Cop, and DARLING in the FRANXX. TRIGGER’s SSSS.GRIDMAN is currently on air, and its highly anticipated Promare is debuting next year. Studio TRIGGER guests Hiromi Wakabayashi, Shigeto Koyama, and Mayumi Shintani will be featured in two panel discussions over the course of the weekend, in addition to special fan autograph sessions and exclusive collaboration merchandise

Wakabayashi and Koyama are veterans of Japan’s animation industry, having worked on many iconic projects throughout their prolific careers. Wakabayashi has served as director or producer on titles including Diebuster, Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill, Space Patrol Luluco, and DARLING in the FRANXX, and Koyama is most known as a designer and director whose work includes Heroman, Star Driver, Eureka Seven, Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill, Cassette Girl, Space Patrol Luluco, and DARLING in the FRANXX. The pair will offer fans exclusive details on their current and upcoming projects with Studio TRIGGER. Joining them onstage is actress Mayumi Shintani, who is an esteemed member of the theatre group Nylon 100°c. Shintani has lent her voice to many popular Japanese animation series including His and Her Circumstances, FLCL, Kill la Kill, Space Patrol Luluco, and SSSS.GRIDMAN. All three will be participating in the following panels:

VIZ Media will also host an official SAILOR MOON panel that will feature several voice actors for the popular anime property including Stephanie Sheh (English Sailor Moon), Robbie Daymond (English Tuxedo Mask), Toru Furuya (Japanese Tuxedo Mask) and more! Attendees can also look forward to an official company panel, which will deliver the latest news on upcoming releases and newly acquired anime and manga titles.

The VIZ Media booth at Anime NYC will feature fun activities and premium giveaways each day of the show.   • Anisong World Matsuri – Day 1 (7:00PM – OFF SITE at Hammerstein Ballroom, 311 W 34th St) Anime NYC is proud to welcome the globally renowned Anisong World Matsuri concert series to New York City for the first time! Anisong World Matsuri – the largest Japanese pop concert in the history of New York City - brings together headlining Japanese pop stars Luna Haruna, Konomi Suzuki, TRUE, and nano for a show-stopping concert. A separate ticket is needed to attend.
  • North American Premiere of K: SEVEN STORIES “Memory of RED – BURN” (3:15PM – Main Stage) Join VIZ for the North American premiere of K: SEVEN STORIES “Memory of RED – BURN”! As the boys in Homura prepare a surprise birthday party for their princess Anna Kushina, the colorless king sets his plan to devour all the other kings in motion. Unaware of the danger, Totsuka Tatara heads out into the night to film one last video for Anna’s birthday gift. All attendees will receive a special giveaway item while supplies list.
  • “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” Screening & Talk Show (6:00PM – Room 1) Come enjoy the first two episodes of “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” followed by a short panel featuring Director Yasuhito Kikuchi and Character Designer Ryoma Ebata.
  • “Natsume Yujin-cho the Movie: Ephemeral Bond” North America Premiere (7:45PM – Panel Room 2) Ever since he was little, Takashi Natsume has been able to see what others could not – namely monstrous spirits known as the Yokai. Natsume’s late grandmother, Reiko, would challenge the Yokai to contests and the ones that lost had to sign a contract with her, binding their names to her “Yujin-cho.” Since inheriting the book, Natsume along with his self-proclaimed bodyguard Nyanko Sensei spends his days trying to return the names within the book to their rightful owners. Be the first to experience this enchanting tale at the North America premiere of “Natsume Yujin-cho the Movie: Ephemeral Bond”.   • “Mobile Suit Gundam NT (Narrative)” Panel presented by SUNRISE (3:00PM – Panel Room 1) Head to the official panel for “Mobile Suit Gundam NT (Narrative)”, the latest Gundam work set in the Universal Century, to hear the film’s producer Naohiro Ogata talking about the inside story of the production. Join an exciting panel with voice actors Todd Haberkorn, Cherami Leigh, Tia Ballard, and Director Tyler Walker and see the newest SimulDub episode from the final season of “Fairy Tail” before it’s available anywhere else.   • “Kase-san and Morning Glories” Screening (7:30PM – Panel Room 2) Based on the manga series written by Hiromi Takashima, “Kase-san and…”, the enormously popular short form web anime “Your Light (Kimi no Hikari)” paved the way for “Kase-san and Morning Glories” – the long-awaiting film adaptation.
