If you dont like zavvi thats cool, simpliest thing to do is not buy from them :)

I never said I didn't like zavvi and I buy a lot from there but I do think this is a piss take, my opinion if you don't cool

No need to be snippy ;) Plus i dont get what you mean exactly by "My opinion if you don't cool" I just gathered from the way you were typing that you dont like zavvi.

This shouldnt be a shock to any long term collector, zavvi have been doing this for a few years, its actually to be expected by most of us.

Snippy? Lol ok...

As I said as a long suffering Zavvi buyer in my opinion these are a piss take that's all..

I dont get it, if you are a "Zavvi Sufferer" Why do you continue to buy from them?

Because as many people in here have said its up to me. I like steelbooks they are the main seller if you asked most people here if they think Zavvi are a good company with exceptional customer service they'd laugh but we all still buy from them as if you want these things which we do you have to use them. Just have a wee look around the forum go into the zavvi retailer thread and there is many more suffering zavvi buyers there but we all continue to buy.

I cant say ive ever really had a serious issue with them personally. I think its great a UK site like zavvi sell steelbooks, figures, tshirts, posters, boxsets etc they are great for what i need and i always get my stuff within a couple of days of ordering.

I actually prefer this artwork to the blufans edition - but no spine title??......surly not. if that's the case it's a massive miss in my opinion.

Yeah, I hope that's just the mockup. I also hope it has a title and not just a picture. Although knowing Zavvo, it'll have a picture

I thought it was obvious that we would get a lenti WEA from zavvi.

I'm happy they did the previous films but what annoyed me was releasing them all at the same time. I wish when they released the last 8 they did it with maybe 2 a month for 4 months. I would of ordered them all.
But then some were really bad like guardians of the galaxy.

A bit like this and age of ultron and the 2 hulks (even though the hulks are universal releases) being released different months

But as a marvel nut I do try to get as many versions as I can with different art (still missing some of the more expensive older titles though and the majority of the zavvi lenti editions but have had a couple of them in hand)

Yes, sorry about that - just came across the thread on page 2 of the search engine after hunting around for a while - my redundant post deleted.

Anyway, this looks awesome and hoping most sincerely that that slice of black metal on the left will not look exactly like that on the real McCoy as I'm really not looking forward to similar issues as with last year's TERMINATOR 2.

Apart from the spine issue (if there is an issue . . . or is it just an unfinished mock-up?) this ANT-MAN lenti SB could well be the crème de la crème of Zavvi lenti steelbooks with its stunning artwork kept within the single-colour raised framing border - a real winner with thankfully no artwork alignment / scaling issues as seen on some of those from towards the end of last year.
If the lenti has decent depth and there is a title on the spine this will be a real winner and surely a contender for Best Steelbook of 2016
In summary: a total must-buy.

Regarding the artwork: even though Ant-Man first appeared as recently as January 1962 - recent when compared to say SUPERMAN in June 1938 or BATMAN in May 1939 - it does have a bit of the Art Deco Fritz Lang METROPOLIS feel to it and reminded of 1920's and 1930's design when I look at it:-

If it has a spine then this will be great.

It looks retro...which fits the film with how old the costume is.

Still think it would have been nicer if in the film they used Hanks costume from the comic. Yes it's cheesy and outdated but considering it's been locked away in the film for decades it would have fitted in with the story.
