Do they really mean they're binning off this release due to how massively unpopular it was and the stink revolving around the now fired Majors?? Don't blame them if that's the case ....
Reading between the lines, I don't think so, no. It's just being pushed back in favour of other titles, like IM3 has been.
this will be #8 and they changed the back artwork. ant-man 1 and ant-man 2 will ne #6 & #7

Well, Marvel themselves scrapped whatever Majors' villain was supposed to become, so they're changing the back artwork here because of that.How did you get that from that?
One can go further and scrap this whole movie, as it's pointless now...

But the information provided clearly didn’t say it was scrapped. That was more punkers own thoughts on the movie and the situation with the actor and it made me laugh how he arrived to that just because of things unrelated to what blufans have in plan
Yeah, I was just expressing my own views on the movie there.
Surprised IM3 getting bumped back though.... It may be divisive (I love it, many don't) but it's a gap in peoples premium collections that plenty want filling.
I don't think IM3 is bumped, as in cancelled. Just moved to phase 3. It makes sense, they obviously wanted to do Antman 1-3 together. I'm willing to bet wave 3 will bring IM 1-3, together, which also makes sense.

Could they ( MARVEL) not wait a bit to see if Major will win his case like JD and keep him in the MCU ?

I'm pretty sure he's already been convicted, which was just the final nail in the coffin for disney, who'd essentially already decided he was out anyway.
Massive downgrade on the switch, but then BF often disappoint with their back arts anyway IMO.
I don't think there was much to save either way, the multiverse story with Kang seems to have been a failure and with Major's legal problems I think they decided to just toss Kang and move on.
Which is a little strange given he should be the easiest character ever to recast.
Wonder if it’s also to do with likeness on a now fired actor. The original image on the back was his teaser poster and now it’s a concept illustrated image of him (and smaller). I’m guessing that’s come from Disney/ Marvel too. To change it to save paying him
Hmm possibly, but the fact he still features on both sides in some capacity makes me think that's not the case... if they were that against it, I'm sure he wouldn't be on there at all. I guess we'll never know for sure though.
