Got my DL today. Not the best lentis. No where near deadpool wolverine clarity levels for example
Got mine too. It's not bad, but Deadpool Wolverine was particularly good tbf.
That's because they still insist on DARK images, when lenticulars work BEST when there's plenty of light and/or enough contrast/differences in the source images. If you don't believe this, look back on all of the lenticulars you have and you'll see it (and once seen... :naughty: ).

This was the same with 3D effects on cinema and further back with good versus bad 3D visual effects in movies, where the poor ones were EXTREMELY dark (to somehow cover imperfections or diminish the level of them seen by viewers)... until AVATAR (the first) come out and show them IT CAN BE DONE PROPERLY, IF you know how!

Oh yeah I’m not retarded. I know it’s because the images are so dark anyway. But just saying they ain’t as good as some previous lentis of theirs especially in the new MCU wave. They’ve all been pretty much great so far. This is still okay though

Never said anything bad about you... au contraire, I have a VERY big appreciation of all you do and say here on this forum for us... I was just merely stating my opinion vis-a-vis them lenticulars...

And of course, you're right, those Ant-Man Quantumania COULD had been WAY BETTER... and yes, there were some SPECTACULAR ones, one of them being the lenticulars on the DL of Deadpool And Wolverine. But same POOR lentis are those on the posters, both for DP&W and 2001... I surely had expected MUCH more, given the „estate” they were having at disposal... :(

Ignore the last message, the steel looks much better out the shrinkwrap. I was under the impression the back of the steelbook had spot matte on the characters but it’s actually full gloss. Swear the early photos showed that and I thought it was a strange decision. Anyway it’s actually decent in hand and the lenti is growing on me. Looks better under some bright artificial light. I’ll get some photos tomorrow

Would have preferred if they'd swapped the SL front with the DL front, making traditional poster front with antagonist on the rear, the lighter/whiter portions on the FS are holo foil. The DL front is reasonably clear, the rear is just too dark but works OK with this lighting. Think the SL is my favourite but the rear picture feels a bit random even though it's 'nice' enough, front is very clear.

That was the ant-man and the wasp steel (2nd film), wasn't it?

Was bored enough to open this today, such a meh release. Blufans aren't what they once were
I think Deadpool & Wolverine slips were pretty cool and the steelbook as well. Also, The Hobbit releases, both boxes, DL and SL, have been amazing. Regarding Antman, the SL slip is pretty cool and the DL is perhaps too dark, but it doesn't look bad. The steelbook should be brighter but the picture was an excellent choice; the back, however, horrible. So, on the whole, Blufans have been doing a pretty good job: their editions are still really cool and that's why people still pay a lot to have them despite not having discs.

Agree with this, Manta's Moon knight now that was a meh release but even if not the best, this one's fine. I think they nailed The hobbit and of course it's the one I chose to skip, really great looking set.

Compared to Blufans at their peak (releases like the OG Guardians of the Galaxy or Thor Ragnarok) there's a clear downgrade in overall feel and quality
