I prefer the art choices on these too but I'm not sure the desaturated look is doing either steel any favours.

I really enjoyed the first season but heard a lot of bad things about the second, think I'll hedge my bets and hope these end up discounted.

I got mixed up, or were the thread titles changed and switched which is '4k' and which is BD only...

Season 1 is a masterpiece imo. Season 2 is 'good' but often feels rushed/truncated, and a lot of the great character work from Season 1 gets buried under the plot. It really needed more episodes or another season. That said, the animation is absolutely incredible and there are some fantastic moments throughout, one of the S2 episodes might be my favourite of the whole series
