ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FROM SCREAM FACTORY

Even being as detailed as we could here, we anticipate that there are questions you may still have about the cuts of the film. Our Blu-ray producer has provided a couple of Q&As that we felt might come up and that some may be curious about:

Q: Is the U.S. Theatrical version a new transfer?
A: Unfortunately, we were not able to do a new transfer of the theatrical cut (which was
provided by our partners at Universal). However, we did do additional color correction.

Q: Why is the International version a 4K transfer and not the Director's Cut?
A: Our original intention was to do a new 4K scan on the director's cut, so we started with
elements that were available in the MGM vault. Unfortunately, we could not find all of the
additional footage (film and audio) for the 96 minute Director's Cut.

That Slipcover is from BD website
The final slipcover might be different and that slipcover has errors on it

Its 3 Discs not 2 Discs

It was just to give an idea of what the slip will look like. The pic is from the Amazon listing.

In fairness all they have to do is change the 2 to a 3 on the spine. Artwork is the same as the Amaray otherwise.

I would wait until Scream Factory release the slipcover artwork
Looks like either BD copied amazon or amazon copied BD for the image

The original poster artwork of Army of Darkness will be on the reverse sleeve in the Blu-ray Case

They've changed the Amaray art to that of the UK steelbook.

Slipcover looks to be unchanged (apart from the '2 disc' on the spine)

That's the reverse amaray art (original poster artwork) which was always included. The flip side of it will be the same as the new commissioned slipcase art

Is the German Koch Media release better? I watched the Director's cut of that set and remember it looking greatly improved over the Dvd versions I'd seen before, so is the DC on this new release an improvement?
