Yeah one of the very few remakes I like...the snow storm setting, the police station out in the middle of no where, the lines being cut kind of made more sense plot wise then the original

The remake was good as remakes go, but it's not a patch on the original!

Here's hoping Second Sight Films pull out all the stops for this release, one of my very favourite John Carpenter movies!

I see on their facebook page that they're currently in the process of cleaning up the print.

I think Paul just meant it's not a Limited edition. Hopefully it comes with some extras!

The UK Second Sight release
ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13: 40th ANNIVERSARY EDITION coming later this year, more details announced shortly. Work underway at Final Frame Post in London to manually remove dirt and scratches using MTI’s DRS Nova

It's a remastered Blu-ray they will be releasing and usually they have new extras with their releases so this could be a decent Blu-ray when it's released
