At The Movies is very proud to present this epic soundtrack on vinyl for the first time!
James Horner knew when he took on the scoring of Avatar that it would be the challenge of a lifetime. The music is both classic in its orchestral power, but also connects us to the soul of the Na'vi through the use of indigenous rhythms and vocals.

For Avatar, James Cameron (Titanic, Aliens, The Terminator)hired long-time collaborator, James Horner, to provide the musical character for his sci-fi fantasy film.

The music had to match the images with its own power to transport us to a world of powerful emotions. It had to reach deep into your hearts, to allow us not only to see but to feel. The music is our key to the emotional understanding of this film.

James Horner knew when he took on the scoring of Avatar that it would be the challenge of a lifetime. The music is both classic in its orchestral power, but also connects us to the soul of the Na'vi through the use of indigenous rhythms and vocals.

During the theatrical run, the film broke several box office records and became the highest-grossing film of all time, surpassing Titanic [MOVATM100] (also directed by James Cameron), which had held those records for twelve years. Avatar was nominated for nine Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director, and won three, for Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography and Best Visual Effects.

Never ordered vinyl from Zavvi. How do they ship? Flimsy mailer or sturdy cardboard?
Decent enough vinyl mailer
I have not had any damaged vinyl with Zavvi so far not even any sleeve seam splits
I had a few that took a while though to be delivered compared to steelbooks
Most of my vinyl orders with Zavvi was shipped from Sweden and managed to arrive OK

Shipping to USA you might need a USA member to give an opinion as I'm based in Rep of Ireland

That's my question too. Does anyone know if Zavvi now also has the black vinyl?
I actually got mine a few weeks ago. Should've waited for the price drop. Oh well. But it came fine. Zavvi ship in sturdy cardboard. Similar to Amazon and other record stores but longer. I'd say get on it

And as far as i can tell, no Zavvi doesnt carry the Black ones.

Did you check your copy?
I know it's a bit late but i got the correct ones. Were you able to get a replacement from Zavvi?

However, i ordered the black ones from Amazon UK and got the blue ones instead. It's been about 3 months so i dont know what they can do but i contacted them anyway.
