Just now watched the preview. How come I've never heard of the bow and arrow guy? Im not that into comics I guess. Was he really popular?

I had to check IMDb for the person playing him and his name is Jeremy Renner.
The theatrical to video window has been shortened significantly over the years for a variety of distribution, theater and piracy reasons. As with Steelbooks, etc, it's not uncommont to see announcements 3 months after theatrical release for some of these films. It will likely continue-often international sites have pre-orders up sooner...
