Hey Casual, yeah the thread in the Steelbook forum was an alert only as noted in thread title-there are no further details on the event, other than it will celebrate Marvel, so the Steelbook thread will remain closed for now. There is no info on whether or not there will be any new 'Steelbook' launches or sales. So the thread in the Marvel Collectibles area is open to discuss the franchise as a whole, and any speculation regarding the event. New members join the site every day, and the bumping of "locked" threads is done for awareness of upcoming retailer or other events relevant to the community as a whole. Thanks guys!

Yeah, after seeing those teaser pics, I think we can safely say that there won't be Iron Man or Hulk steels announced, probably more animation steels. Shame really I was hopeful.
I think they will do them someday though

That third pic, not only looks familiar to me- I'm almost positive it was used as a clue for an HDN giveaway earlier this year (or a clue for a release). It's driving me crazy! Tried to look through some of the old threads, but to no avail…
