Let's see if I fully understand. If I'm wrong about anything please correct me.

1) People in the U.S. who purchased through the group buy haven't received their copies yet and when they do, the steelbooks inside the slips will be the new replacement steelbooks?

2) For the rest of the world, we could have requested a replacement steelbook from WeET even if we hadn't unsealed our slips?

That's great but I already unsealed my slip and the only reason I did was to see if there were scratches on the steelbook. I couldn't see any scratches on the steelbook with the shrink-wrap on it so I removed the shrink-wrap after the reply from @StifflersDad and I was able to find the scratches though I had to inspect it closely to find them since they are only visible under light at a very specific angle. They are much more noticeable in the enlarged photograph than with the naked eye but now that I know they are there i will definitely have to get a replacement.

yes you can get a replacement by sending an email to weet with pictures no issues. Only reason people in US are getting replacement repackage is because I was out of country for a month and didnt take shipment. I instructed the GB members based out of US about my time off and since we are waiting 1 month already (since I left) whats another week or so to get it replaced. Nothing special or special treatment because they are US based.

No I understand that it isn't preferential treatment for the US buyers and that it was because you were away.
But I think @TheCollector86 was asking if replacement steelbooks would be sent by WeET if requested by people in the rest of the world even if the slips hadn't been opened and the steelbook inspected.

I dont know about that for sure, since all steels are not affected Weet is asking for some kind of proof? Will check and let you know. What a nightmare this has turned into lol.

:LOL: indeed. Maybe you can convince them to send out sealed slips with the replacement steelbooks inside to us as well. :LOL:

Just saw this post. Very disappointed to hear about the defect. Has anyone opened their copy and found NO scratches? Or are pretty much 100% scratched? Really don’t want to read through 38 pages. Trying to decide if I should open my 2 slips..

I opened both my B1 & B2 editions and both are scratched, so I email WeET for replacements. About how long does he normally respond by? For anyone who emailed him..
 
Has anyone had any news on them getting the replacement SteelBooks and sending them out yet? I have emailed and haven’t had a reply.
