British Independent Film Awards
British Independent Film Awards is held every year in order to appreciate the independent British films made throughout the year. This award ceremony is organized by the Film Festival Guild. BIFA award function was started in the year 1998 by Elliot Grove and since then this is an annual affair in the United Kingdom. The International Indian Film Academy Awards which is commonly called by the name of IIFA is one of the pioneer award function held in order to facilitate the most deserving people in Indian cinema. For the first time, IIFA was held in the year 2000 and since then it has become one of the widely followed award functions in Bollywood. There are so many categories under which people are awarded. European Film Awards
European Film Awards is a regular award function held each year. Its first installment was organized in the year 1988 by the prestigious European Film Academy. The prime motive behind the organization of European Film Awards is to appreciate and showcase the best talent available in the entertainment industry of Europe. When this award function was first started, it was called by the name of Felix Award. The winners and nominees are strictly from the films made by the Europeans. The statuette given to the winner is made up of 24 carat gold and is placed in a case of morocco leather.
