1966 Classic serie (official website)
In 1955, the Lincoln division of Ford Motor Company designed and built a concept ‘car of the future"’, named ‘The Futura’. It was a two-seat grand touring car with instruments housed in the steering wheel, a push-button transmission, exterior microphones to pick up and transmit traffic sounds and a host of other innovative devices. It was a ‘rolling laboratory’ from which Ford would learn about new technology to apply to their production automobiles. The car was built entirely by hand in Turin, Italy and like many concept cars, was never put into production. In the mid 1960's, George Barris of Barris Kustom City acquired the car directly from Ford.
The story goes that years later, when he heard that Fox was going to be doing a BATMAN TV Series and needed an exotic car, he sketched out a version of the Futura with suitable ‘Bat’ alterations, and presented it to the producers. George felt it was the perfect answer considering the bat-like qualities his Futura already had and the fact that the car had to be ready for action in a mere three weeks.
Some time later in October of 1965, the BATMOBILE was born.
As not everyone can have the chance to drive an actual Batmobile, owning one of these beautifully-executed Hot Wheels EliteTM reproductions fuels a collector imagination to go faster and faster.

The model is also available in chrome paint (limited edition: no more than 3,000 pieces) and matte black and is part of the 1966 TV Series Batmobile collection celebrating the 75th Anniversary of DC Comics!

1989 Keaton (official website)
Based on the legendary DC Comics character, the film ‘BATMAN’ was released in 1989, directed by Tim Burton and starred Michael Keaton as Batman and Jack Nicholson as The Joker.

The film is the first installment of Warner Brothers’ Batman Series and tells the story of BRUCE WAYNE coping with the rise of a powerful villain known as ‘The Joker’. In order to defeat this strange enemy, Batman needs a potent vehicle: the BATMOBILE. The car has been completely reinvented, reflecting the environment of Burton's Art Deco GOTHAM CITY: it is huge, long, low and sleek, combining design elements from 1930s coupes like Bugattis as well as modern racing cars. It features a repeating bat motif evident in the distinctive wing-shaped tail fins. It is technologically equipped with the most advanced automotive customization. It features a Jet Turbine engine and 530 km/h top speed (with booster). It cost a few million dollars to develop and was built on a Chevy Impala chassis. A really thrilling model for all Batman’s fans!

1995 Batman Forever (official website)
Based on the legendary DC Comics character, the film Batman Forever was directed by Joel Schumacher and starred Val Kilmer as Batman. This movie was the third of Warner Bros. Pictures’ Batman series, at the time. With a claimed maximum speed of 330 mph and the remarkable ability to climb straight up walls, the Batman Forever vehicle is one of the most famous BATMOBILES of all time.

To accentuate the fabulous lines of this car, the engine and wheels were indirectly lit so that they appeared to glow blue. Our 1:18th scale model features remarkable details, from the swooped sky-high tail fins to the shark-like grille that struck fear into the hearts of bad guys all over Gotham City.

Batman fans will surely love this extraordinary model!

2008 Tumbler from The Dark Knight (official website) and (official website)
The BATMOBILE depicted in the film ‘THE DARK KNIGHT’ is a tank-like vehicle modified from a military vehicle called ‘the Tumbler’. It appears twice in the movie and the film’s production designer described it as a car boasting “Lamborghini lines combined with tank functions: an armored riot control vehicle, complete with machine guns shooting rubber bullets and a large cannon mounted on the front.” This is the largest Batmobile ever, easily straddling a three-lane highway. Four street-ready cars were constructed, with each vehicle possessing sixty-five carbon fiber panels and costing $250,000 to build. Two of the four cars were specialized versions. One version was the flap version, featuring hydraulics and flaps to detail the close-up shots where the vehicle propelled itself though the air. The other version was the jet version in which an actual jet engine was mounted onto the vehicle, fueled by six propane tanks. The full-sized vehicles were driven and filmed on the streets of Chicago.

These look pretty cool. I never good quite get behind the Hot Toys due to the immense size (which are otherwise awesome). This scale makes it a bit more feasible (and affordable) to have a few different versions.

I picked up the Elite 1:43 Batmobile from Arkham Knight hoping it would be, at least, a decent replacement for the cancelled statue from the collector's edition. I gotta say, it's very disappointing for the price. Not sure why they made this one so much smaller than the other Batmobiles, but it's a huge letdown in my opinion.

1:43 is way too small IMO to appreciate it. At that scale it's more a toy thank a "collectible".

Was tired of waiting for the Batman v Superman version, so ordered the R/C Air Hogs edition that is a little bit larger than 1:18 but still, will do the job!
And a bonus, it's R/C, lights go on and it's driving nicely :p
