Would literally pay extra to not have that ratings logo on the front.
Also noticeable is the lack of the usual color strip along the bottom of the front, though I suppose that would ruin the aesthetic.

Love the look of this and darko but it’s a pass for now. Too expensive and skint for a few months. Maybe after release

Do I really need another edition for BR? Probably not, but I've convinced myself to order it anyway since I don't own it on 4K... not that I currently have a 4K setup, but hopefully someday!

Sixty pounds no thank you great film but not worth that price, and this is one reason why physical media will die
All those editions are selling out and go for twice the price on ebay. I’m not seeing how this proves that physical media will die out.

Well only collectors will buy them your average movie lover will not pay £60 for a movie, and how many of these box sets actually get double? I am also a collector. I am seeing and doing it myself i am buying less as the prices are getting to expensive. As much us i love 4k and i like to own the best possible version of movies i love, it is dying.

From the recent similar boxsets those are coming to mind :
- Total Recall 4K collector’s Boxset
-Flash Gordon , Studiocabal 4K Boxset
- Tremors 4K Arrow Boxset

and those movies are not even mainstream.

Arrow are killing my wallet with these announcements and releases. Loved Tremors, Crash, Cinema Paradiso & King of New York 4K blu-rays, and I have to get these ones as well. Pre-ordered.

They are not selling they are just listed as that price, still my points stand they are way to overpriced which is just one factor to why physical media is coming to a end.

Total recall last sold -$120
Flash Gordon last sold - $135
Tremors - going price is $75, which is almost double the retail.
Bestbuy is reprinting almost all 2020 4K steelbooks as they have all been sold out and were actively going for double - triple the retail price. The reprint of Halloween 4k steelbook is sold out again, and again is going for double price on ebay.
I agree, there is no point in buying an amaray and those will probably die out. Collector’s editions , on the other hand, are doing just fine, if anything there have been more of them released nowadays and almost everything is selling out for full price without any problems. Of course, with the exclusion of Disney releases, as i suspect they just printed an unholy amount of them which defeats the whole purpose of the thing being limited collecting edition.

Price is super subjective but I’m surprised to see so much chatter on it when it’s a 4-disc set (2 4K discs) plus the soundtrack in some super deluxe (and beautiful IMO) packaging. Arrow deluxe versions have always felt worth it to me for a long time. I’ve paid a lot more for a lot less.

Ordered on Diabolik for myself in the US. :emb:

Completely agree with you
People tend to pay much more for a single steelbook in a fullslip, this looks like a decent box set with exciting extra materials. Not saying it is cheap, but imo it is very far from overpriced.
