The re release date is actually 3 weeks earlier on the anime on line website (14th April) compared to what zavvi have so that might be why

I’ve not been charged yet though. Did you order after I posted in here that it’s getting a re release?

If you haven't already, read the manga as well people. It just doesn't compare. Despite being totally iconic ( that opening theme song, The Eclipse and...grrr Griffith!), this original anime covers like barely 10 volumes of a 41 volume series.
If you love this, you owe it to yourself to experience the manga.
