I feel this has been released before, no?
There have been other steelbooks of Berserk, but haven't seen this artwork on them before

Edit: apparently this is a one time pressing only so once its gone its gone, but I'm gonna hold of for a complete box set that includes the Golden Age Arc and the 2016 series

I actually prefer the Golden Age Memorial series from 2022/23 over the 1997 original.
Never seen the 2016 series. I read from sources that it wasn't good and hit up the newest one instead.
The golden age ending is more complete in the 2022/23 version. Though I haven't read any of the manga yet. I understand it's way more in-depth and covers several story arcs.
I wish they'd do more

The Manga is way more brutal than the anime, if you love Berserk then it's a must.
I started with the 2016 version years ago but I couldn't get into it found the 3D animation really weird, so I started with the Original series and it was much better, after that the Golden Age Arc (I agree it's better), then finished the 2016 continuation, and then I bought the Berserk Manga set

The Golden Age ending was plenty brutal enough for me :hilarious:
Jeez, all literal hell breaks lose. Insane.
One day I'll start reading the manga. It's definitely on my wish list. After watching Vinland Saga series 1&2, that manga is also on the list.
Amazing job Studio Mappa did. Just amazing.

Anyone had bought from Crunchyroll? How is their packaging for steelbooks?
Awful in my experience, I don't buy directly anymore after buying from them 3 times and receiving damaged items each time, their customer service is also a nightmare just to return an item, granted this was a year ago.
They consider a scratches and dents purely cosmetic, but as long as the discs are playable it's ok .
So if your lucky to get a CS rep on the line, you can ship it back and get a refund but they will not send you a replacement.
Rightstuffanime was my go to place for anime editions their packaging was top tier, but they decided to merge with Crunchyroll.

Looks to be super glossy and a lovely effect on the blood, shame they're pretty hard to find now. The new steelbook looks pretty nice too, first time I've seen a PET slip that serves no purpose though.

This Cruncyroll release only has two discs while the All the anime version has three, anyone know why that is?

you'd both like a copy? looks like there is free shipping for the rest of the day, as long as I order today.
thanks for the help, andy! i panicked and bought a copy from ebay tho, so I'd pass (unless you already ordered one specifically for me)

sounds like theres more than enough interest for 3 copies tho?
