Best Buy Co. Inc. next week will offer a new ‘Buy 1 Get 1 50 percent off’ game sale for Sony Corp.’s Playstation 3.
Beginning Sept. 6, customers who purchase any PS3 title $59.99 or less can receive a second title at 50 percent off.
The sale follows a similar game offer for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 this week.
Sony in Aug. announced the new PS3 Slim model, a smaller and lighter version of the hardware.
It includes a 120GB hard drive and built-in Blu-ray disc player for $299.99.
Meanwhile, retailer Amazon.com is offering a $10 game credit with the purchase of Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.’s Batman: Arkham Asylum at $52.99.
Additionally, it is selling PS3 accessories at below MSRP, including the Dualshock 3 controller at $42.99 and the Blu-ray remote controller at $19.99.
