I just thought of something and I'm not sure how it will go down. Imagine if the title was magnetic sticker like a lenticular magnet. Would be interesting as a one off for this I think. I'll wait patiently for the abuse for that comment

That's an excellent idea, but after seeing the Thailand edition of BH6, I'm beginning to think this Zavvi edition will NOT have title on spine and in front. I do hope I'm wrong though.

Make you a deal Zavvi- Keep the title on the spine and the cover of BH6 if you promise
to take the title off the cover of the Avengers Lenti release. Deal???

I hope that is not the case with no title on the spine as that is my one pet hate on steelbooks, as I have just opted out of the GB for Target BH6.
I thought that as both Avengers and BH6 pictures clearly show title on spine that Disney have seen the errors of their ways. I suppose only time will tell :watch:

I might be the only one on here who cares but I really wish they would use different covers in different countries. This looks almost like the Target exclusive so I wouldn't order from Zavvi for the extra cost.

If you compare the two, they are actually quite different. And one could be glossy vs. The other being matte.
But, yeah, I don't necessarily disagree with you.
More exclusives would be more fun...also painful for a collector's wallet!!

Wallet would definitely be hurting but I still wish/prefer they had totally different covers. Like the Wolverine and X-Men Zavvi releases that just popped up today. That is totally different from the versions we got and might be worth double dipping for myself.

But also consider- if you are a hardcore collector, now you have to buy 10 versions of the same movie from 10 different countries with 10 different covers!!**
It would be MADNESS!!!

wow, big title spine that you can actually read. Well done Zavvi, slowly but surely learning... for now
Well...Its not actually Zavvi's fault, merely only being a distributor of said steelbooks...Bad customer service may be their forte, but actually designing steelbooks definitely isn't in their repertoire...

yet they continually release 3D blu-rays in the smaller UK market? hmmm
Despite being anti-3D, if a movie can make money being released that way- they go for it. i.e.- probably everything they can release in 3D in China & Korea they will (because China and Korea go nuts for 3d).
Their stats must say that previous Disney UK 3D releases spell $$$.

Germany is another market that loves 3D releases

Does anyone have any idea what the internal artwork for the Target exclusive steelbook will look like? I'm debating whether I should keep my preorder for this since I also have the Target one lined up. It's almost $40 for me for this Zavvi one...

Wasn't it because Disney US came up with some ridiculous idea about charging twice the amount for 2D+3D combi's?

I think they gave Amazon a wholesale price for the 3D titles that was more than Amazon was willing to pay as it would never be able to make any money on them after discounting to a price the consumer would pay. Disney dug their heels in (as they always do) so Amazon wouldn't back down. I don't know if the wholesale deal was offered to other retailers (I assume it was), but I'm guessing they said no too.

I think it was something like that anyway.
