i think its either one of 3 things

1- the film is late being released in this region and so most collectors have already sourced editions from america, asia etc...

2- the print run is massive

or

3- zavvi were playing games with the stock, it was never sold out. they only offered a small amount of stock for pre order to give the impression of high demand/short supply, so when they actually went on sale people would panic buy and they would secure more sales.
More than likely, it's all 3...

I agree most probaly all 3 but i reckon point 3 is the closet lol

Resisted eBay for this for what seemed like ages and finally got my copy today from the retailer.
A big thank you to those here and to the other site that let us know this was going live again today at mid-day.
BTW still live many hours later, surprisingly - I suppose due to massive orders being cancelled - and I'm reminded of the toe rags advertising 39 and 10 of these on the bay as good examples.

It's the UK one for me all the way, mainly because it's already been despatched on Friday, wont get to see it until at least Tuesday, bloody Bank holiday...:(

I still think this will be sold out within a day or so, we shall see.

they did make a point of saying 'a very small quantity' being available, so its a bit surprising its been readily available all day. i was thinking they had a dozen or so lol they probably mean a few hundred

Wow-zavvi must have had a lot of cancellations or not been able to charge people's cards for this to come back into stock

Zavvi-where out of stock doesn't actually mean out of stock...

I think we call it "Zavvi Sold Out".
I wonder if we'll be asking the same question in a month when it's priced at GBP 19.99 ?

Aw man, was hoping for no embossing. Tried canceling it about an hour after ordering it and couldn't.

I'll keep it sealed and just sell it someone at cost either here or the other place when/if it goes out of stock.

Slightly disappointed.

We have no idea what the print run for this is still correct? Sunday is probably Zavvis biggest or second biggest day for sales so to still see it live is a bit concerning. . I would love to see some in hand pictures of it. I know there are collectors that need this for there Zavvi Disney Collection. With the Thai, Korea, plus a few other countries along with the Target and Nova releases I am skeptical Zavvi can compete at that price. They could surprise OZ and Bugs Life are both unexpected stunners.

Can't believe this is still in stock

Guess Zavvi does hold a lot of stock back...better be on the look out for Dredd when they come back in stock

We don't even know the print run so i wouldn't be surprised if this stayed around for a while, when zavvi put things out of stock on pre-order it means absolutely nothing. I reckon they allocate a certain amount for pre-orders and keep a lot back for the official release date.

Im beginning to think that this pre ordering is a waste of time with the way Zavvi say they are sold out when they are not, may as well wait till they go down in price then pay the extra from ebay for the ones that are really sold out, we would prob save money in the long run.
My Zavvi pre-orders looks thinner than last year. Also not buying the HMV Steels upfront as most of them drop in price few months down the line and I am the type who can wait.[emoji6]
