I have artist Luke Butland http://lostminddesign.dunked.com/ Lined up to start work on screenprinted poster for Black Hawk Down. Luke does some great work and I think this piece will put him on the map. I have some rough sketches in hand and our group is currently selecting a sketch to move onto final artwork. I've attached our favorite sketch of the bunch to the post and included the artists description at the bottom of the post. Print info is below. Size: 36x24 (landscape)
Paper: Cougar smooth white 100lb cover stock.
Print Run-20-30 (depends on the number of committers)
Cost-$80-$100 (split payments, first half due in early april)
*price includes artist fee, printing, and shipping*

"A bit of a closer perspective, Two characters in the
foreground, downed helicopter to the right with the convoy driving away in the distance.
Towards the centre of the print you would have car turrets and helicopters in the middle dropping soldiers.
Title treatment would sit amongst the rubble at the base of the print and not stand out too much"
