Upcoming Black Mirror (Season 6) [Netflix]

For New Years I started binge watching this show! And I'm hooked! I'm about to start Season 3!
And I can't believe I couldn't find a thread for this amazing and disturbing show! So here it is!

Black Mirror is a British television anthology series created by Charlie Brooker that features speculative fiction with dark and satirical themes that examine modern society, particularly with regard to the unanticipated consequences of new technologies. The show was first broadcast on the British Channel 4, in 2011. In September 2015, Netflix commissioned a third season of 12 episodes. The commissioned episodes were later divided into two seasons of six episodes; the third season was released on Netflix worldwide on 21 October 2016.

Regarding the program's content and structure, Brooker noted, "each episode has a different cast, a different setting, even a different reality. But they're all about the way we live now – and the way we might be living in 10 minutes' time if we're clumsy." The series has received critical acclaim and has seen an increase in interest internationally (particularly in the US) after being added to Netflix.

I hope you end up enjoying it more than I did. I was late to the party too, but decided to finally give it a go after constantly hearing people bang on about it... watched the most talked about episodes and really didn't rate them unfortunately.

I much prefer Inside No. 9, which I found to be a lot smarter in its story-telling, and it has genuine shock value due to its unexpected twists, which are actually clever rather than stupid (like in BM). Just a far better show overall IMO.

I believe the interactive thing was a film mate, and I've not had the slightest urge to check it out either lol.

I haven't actually got around to watching the live episode of No. 9 yet... in fact, I still need to catch up on a few other episodes. But yeah, League of Gentleman is a classic! I never could get in to Psychoville though... maybe I'll give it another go.

Yeah but other stuff has been made in the last 2 years. 2 years ago is when it all opened up again. Brooker has had years to write 3 or 4 episodes!

But yeah I can’t wait. Honestly love the show and how on the nose it is with tech
