This is a creative design using the Voight-Kampff prop from the film

People seem to be getting carried way the embossing, but ignoring the fact that the actual design is really pretty poor. And we don't even know what the rest will look like yet!

I can see that they're trying to go for something different. But they just went down the wrong route for me.

I wonder would there be as much enthusiasm if this had been announced as a Zavvi exclusive? Like when GOTG got the Walkman steelbook. Or Ant-Man the HDD?

'Above all others for this movie so far'? Not by a long shot for ME. Without the embossing it would be nothing.

Actual design is cool.

There's already been plenty of other steels for this movie with different designs, so I'm totally down for something new/unique like this... same goes for any other movies.

So apparently the “Voight-Kampff” part is actually an enamel pin that sits inside a blister on the front of the slip. Pretty cool if you ask me!

This release has a removable Voight-Kampff enamel pin as shown in the mock up of the slip

What @Space Cadet and @paulboland said (just the Voight-Kampff part). Would be pretty pricey to make an enamel pin out of the entire thing, since it's so big... plus I'm not sure they even make enamel badges that large lol.

yeah, right.. it was already used on a lackluster streaky matte steelbook in canada...

And yet it is still best Steelbook release to date. Nice finishing and embossing is fine but it means nothing without quality artwork.

its not.. at least for me.. the jp unicorn one is better imo... now that ive taken a closer look tho, its actually not that bad despite the rather poor quality

I have to say IMHO that to date this is the best artwork I've seen for this movie steelbook hands down.
