It's gonna be released in germany as well.I don't think it is... (unless something has changed) it's just getting a Spanish release. Seeing as the label has only been launched in that region this year, it's not a full scale reissue.
And all the people who paid £150 on ebay be crying. It's gonna be released in germany as well.
And they say it's getting re-printed in Italy around xmas. We'll see
ppl paying 150 GBP for a ToC release have much bigger problems than a "reprint"And all the people who paid £150 on ebay be crying.

Yeah, have to see. Agreed it's a much cheaper option for those who don't own it, but Spanish and German editions will likely have non English text on the slips, for those who care about it.It's gonna be released in germany as well.

They deserve to be crying if they spent that much on thisAnd all the people who paid £150 on ebay be crying.
Yeah but this is different a reprint after all this time is ridiculous. If to many companies do this the word "collectable" becomes a joke and you eventually have customers purchasing fewer releases.Yup it's the norm. The steelbooks are keeping the format afloat. It will do whatever it takes to survive that's because people will keep on buying. The retailers have noticed this. The same movie title being re-released as premiums with different companies up to ten times at some instances.
Japan's been doing it for years already with their exclusives and Germany's been doing it for a few years. You just can't sound surprised whenever it happens. It's unfortunate but it does occur.Yeah but this is different a reprint after all this time is ridiculous. Such short sided thinking, I don't really like most of the TOC stuff but the reprinting has been happening more often the last year, could just be fresher in my mind but certainly feels like it.

Really? The brand you keep crying about is as main stream as it gets. It's everywhere. I wouldn't have the highest regard for this kind of collection. Titans of Cult is not in the same league as any premium releases out out there. No one really cares. Why do you think they will be reprinted. They're not holding their breath. All they know is that it will sell. That's the bottom line they do care about. It's all about the survival of the format. Besides the collectors, do you know anyone that buys the physical media any more. I do not know a single soul that buys any blu rays any more. The argument you keep talking about holds no grain. They will reprint them. If it means for a title to make a slight gain on the format is to be released in a steelbook form, then it will.LOL. How can you even compare Japan/Germany and TOC ? You do see the difference, don't you ? Even if you are from US I expect that much. Sigh.
I'm not so sure. The ONLY thing ToC still had somewhat going for themselves was that at least some of their releases are now hard to find and sought after - i.e. Blade Runner. So if you now pi$$ of your only constituence - collectors/physical media buying enthusiasts - by simply reprinting everything that fetches a bit of demand, it might be good business strategy short term, but it will probably hurt their bottom line down the road. What is the point in releasing a special limited collector's edition and then make it available for everybody until the end of time? I honestly don't really care. I bought Blade Runner when it came out for 29,99€ and liked it (still do btw.), but if a new ToC comes out and I'm a bit on the fence whether to buy it or not, a potential identical rerelease will be the deciding factor in not getting it.Really? This is so true. These don’t even sell out any more. Reprinting the older ones will only stop the remaining collectors buying them. Their recent movie choices and higher price put me off buying them all as I originally planned but reprinting would put me off steelbooks altogether.I'm not so sure. That can't be as true as you think. Dvd is still by far the highest selling format, far above blu ray and faaaaaaar above 4k.Really? The brand you keep crying about is as main stream as it gets. That must be a bootleg release @DMD4k then ha? Like all other Spanish releases?I don't think it is... (unless something has changed) it's just getting a Spanish release. Seeing as the label has only been launched in that region this year, it's not a full scale reissue.
