Blockbuster is one of the most nostalgic things from my childhood. I remember Friday nights strolling the isles looking for an interesting movie or SNES game and the candy and sodas at checkout. It’s actually kind of sad that they are gone. There was just something about the experience. The leads have great comedic timing so I have high hopes for this.

Yes but I don't believe that Netflix was a streamer at that time. Just a rental store through the mail.

If Blockbuster bought them would Netflix have become the streamer it is today?

Or would Netflix have just continued renting out discs through the mail and died along with Blockbuster?
