i picked up batman forever and batman & robin last night

I just watched A Prophet (Un Prophete) again, the first time I watched it I was left with some unsolved thoughts. I suppose I just needed further examination of the material. Now I truly believe that this is one of the best movies I've seen this year. You get to see the lead go in to jail and slowly see his transformation and his path into corruption. It's intricate and complex from the get go. Pretty tough to watch at times, but regardless it's an impressive film. The way it looks fits completely into the context of the movie. If you are into foreign film this is definitely worth a rental.

horhay have you seen mesrine 1 & 2? also french,excellent films aswell.
and if you haven't seen the girl with the dragon tattoo,get it as soon as you can.you wont be disapointed.it's the first part of a trilogy.2nd part is the girl who played with fire & final part,the girl who kicked the hornet's nest.from sweden, hollywood are remaking it with david fincher directing.i hate remakes,because peeps cant read subtitles & hollywood have no original ideas of their own.rant over,sorry!

the last two of the trilogy you may have trouble hunting them down they are released on R6 & subs may be a problem.a friend of mine sorted them out for me.dragon tattoo is out on blu-ray worldwide.seriously one of the best films i've seen.i take it you have seen let the right one in,from sweden also,if not get that aswell. totall must see film.there's a remake coming out this year called let me in.

Death at a Funeral

Death at a Funeral was ok, had its moments, but overall there's too much chaos and silly moments that just felt like the directors were trying too hard to be funny.

The other three I haven't had a chance to watch yet.

The last movie I watched was Brooklyn's Finest. Both the PQ/AQ were solid, but I felt that the story and acting were lacking.

Today I received:

-- The Losers - Which I saw in theaters and I found it entertaining.
-- Batman: Under the Red Hood - I have heard that this movie is just as good as Batman: The Mask of the Phantasm.
