Blueglide-I watched Season 1 on HD DVD, because everyone said I needed to check it out. Now I am streaming Season 2 on Netflix HD, and am enjoying it more and more. I hope to get through the whole show (ah, to have enough time!:).

After watching the last episode I kinda felt like I was saying goodbye to old friends! :(

watched, Secretariat, The Color Purple and GUN

Watched:

From Paris With Love

This was an awesome movie, I thought it was going to suck too.

Hey Blueglide-glad you liked "Red":) For completely selfish reasons (AKA Kate Beckinsale),I watched "Whiteout" (which worked well, because we got another foot of snow after we watched it, LOL). I knew it was a bomb going in, but man....it was bad. Stale, robotic script and pretty boring. 2/5 at best, and that only because Kate took most of her clothes off at the beginning (at least I am paying attention to the important stuff, right?.Sound was a bit odd, too-lots of mumbling and then a quick burst of volume. Good thing it was a rental....

LOL..Whiteout is playing now on DirectTV..I watched a little of it but you're right...kind of a bomb. Last night I watched Secretariat...great movie, but then I am a horse owner/farrier so it was fun to watch. What an incredible horse he was too...anyone that owns horses will tell you that they are more like people than you'd ever expect. I completely believed it when Penny tells Secretariat in the movie to run his own race...and boy does he! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to watch a 'feel good' movie! :scat:

Hey Blue-I really liked the trailer for Secretariat. I am not very knowledgeable about Horses, but consider myself to be an animal lover for sure. Horses are truly stunning and with Disney's uncanny ability, overall, to add their magic, I am sure it was a very engaging and sweet film.Good to see Diane Lane in a role like this...quite opposite of, ehem,"Unfaithful",say, LOL:)

I watched Red yesterday. Whatever you do, do not buy the regular edition. The dolby digital track is weak.

Soon to be watching Buried.
