Just picked up Sleeping Beauty sealed with slipcover, Twilight new moon wal mart exclusive with lenticular slipcover, and Shrek the whole story all sealed for 80$ on eBay. Not a bad haul.

Watched Appaloosa!

Reminded me of the great Westerns Eastwood made back in the 70's

I liked it!

Saw this on HD Cable a few times --- great movie. Viggo kicks ass in basically anything he's in. The ending where Viggo starts realizing what Harris's wife is up to... man, that's awesome. Good friend, that Viggo is. ;)

Watched True Grit and must say its a very good movie. PQ and AQ are excellent.

The original or the remake? Both are great... though I liked the ending to the original a bit more.

I watched Kill Bill vol 2... from the steelbook I just bought. :movie:

Pretty sure he means the new True Grit (JP) ... I think he is reviewing it for the site.

The remake. I saw the original a while back and thought it was OK. I like Jeff bridges Rooster Cogburn take over the Duke's.

I was hoping the remake was going to be a bit darker then it was, since the original with Wayne was so light and fluffy (considering the subject matter).

While the remake was definitely grittier (sorry for the pun) then the original... I think it could have gone a few notches darker to really separate itself.

But I really liked both of them.

I've been trying like hell to watch Inglorious Basterds with my wife... but she keeps passing out after about 30 mins.

Ahh, life with two kids. :ugh:

I thought it could be a tad bit darker myself, but I think filmmakers wanted to keep the rating for a wider audience.

Bought Barry Lyndon, plus Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind and Curse of the Golden Flower in the BOGOF sale that Carrefour are having at my local store.

I've read mixed reviews of Barry Lyndon, but decided to get it as I would like to complete my Stanley Kubrik collection I just need Lolita now.

Just got Zombieland from Best Buy... I was hoping to get it for .99 cents at the Blockbuster sale, but at least it was on sale at BB for $12.99 plus a $5 gift card from their "Rewards" program making it a solid deal. :)

Just watched "The Quick and The Dead" with the lovely Sharon Stone. PQ was really good for an older film. I'd never seen it-but it had been burning a hole in my Q for a bit. Gene Hackman, Russel Crowe and Leonardo DiCaprio all had fun characters. I enjoyed it!

Man in the Iron Mask, TAPS $11.56 USD each

the perfect game $20.49

actually the perfect game is a real history about a baseball team from Monterrey (city were I live) that won the 1957 Little League World Series

Earlier today I watched "Fair Game" with Naomi Watts-one of my favorite current actresses. PQ/AQ were very crisp and it seemed to be a fair representation of what occurred when the name of a CIA agent was leaked. Sean Penn was also enjoyable in his role. Good thriller, overall.

More pics of that Clockwork orange premium would be nice Martin ... I think Im going to get the USA edition tho, looks really nice.

Well ... Just got my order of blank blu-ray cases in and put together all my 99cent blockbuster blu-ray haul.

So, here it is ... 50 blu-rays.
