Will this be the longer directors cut version or theatrical? Maybe time to upgrade from dvd?

I doubt Universal is doing a new master for this. Expect it to be the same version they have already released, which contains both cuts.

Back should have been the front.

Cool may well go for this then

I also agree the back should be the front.

Thanks for the tag basil:notworthy::thumbs:
I watched this a lot when I was a kid but I don't think I would watch this now, I don't own this movie and have never felt the need to watch it again so luckily I can save money this time :greedy:

Glad you're excited basil:oohyeah::oohyeah::joy:

This will do just fine for me :thumbs:

Not wishing to state the obvious but he Italian steel - at the equivalent of just over GBP 7 - is the same as this one apart from 2 obvious differences:-
(1) No U.K. j-card
(2) Not limited to 1,000 (to my knowledge)

Same type situation as the 'BttF' trilogy and others of course.

Big shame that on the films 35TH ANNIVERSARY we are not getting a re-mastered disc :(
Maybe we'll have to wait for the 40th?
Re-mastered 'Spartacus' for its 55th so the technology is there . . .

Now, if this and 'Spartacus' and ALL new releases - apart from those already known with regular print runs - are ultra limited (to 1,000 only) I wonder what will be the effect on steelbook collecting ?
Only mentioned this because it's unusual to have two 1,000 print run steelbooks back to back :)
