Note: First SteelBook for this awesome movie. Metropolitan release, so should be glossy. This collector's edition is a 5-disc set: the movie in 4K, BD, 3 DVDs, a booklet and a slipbox.

A little hyperbolic. There are lots of blu rays and DVDs all over the world that don't supply alternative subtitles for other territories.

Because there's no dire need for them. Virtually everyone speaks English today (plus their own native language), and not many bother to learn something extra.

Online stock of this sold out on Amazon and FNAC.

Any French ninja able to help me get a copy of this edition please. Apparently still in stock in-store at FNAC

Very disappointed to have missed the opportunity to buy this for 50 euros:(. I don’t want to pay 200 euros on Amazon.fr. Is there anywhere else selling it for a reasonable, fair price?

I suppose I’m happy to wait for the single disc version but I’ll have to make sure I’m fast picking it up I suppose.

I lived in Paris in 90s and saw this and Crying Freeman at UGC Les Halles. I also managed to miss getting the 4K of Crying Freeman too. I hope Metropolitan will turn their hands to that too.

I don’t mind that there aren’t any English subtitles. I wonder if that means they plan to do an English language release soon and I may as well wait for that?

received mine today with only a bunched corner on the ''rigid'' slip case, thankful that was all.
