It seems like the Netherlands are getting a The Avengers steelbook as well!

Would like to get the Bol exclusive edition 2blu ray (non SB) version of MI: Ghost Protocol to swap out the discs with the UK SB but, like you say, shipping is damn expensive for just one item.

I have sent an e-mail to Disney Netherlands, about the steelbook treatment. And gave them my personal opinion how to treat with steelbooks.

Hopefully I have soon a reply back.

The Avengers film is released by Paramount.

Disney own the rights to Marvel 'Comics' and characters but do not release the films

Marvel Studios owns the rights to The Avengers and releated films (Paramount distribute witht he exception of Hulk which Universal Distribute)
Sony owns Spider-Man & Ghost Rider
Fox owns Fantastic Four and Daredevil

Disney are handling the theatrical release as shown above but Paramount may have the rights to home video. Has happened a few times in the world of home video

Disney bought the rights from paramount for worldwide distribution. Disney paid about 115million, paramount still get 3 or 8% of the earnings.

no mention of Disney anywhere during the credits at all?
