Yes, it's unfortunate when they go to town with the 'bossing and put a poor/average lenticular on all that to add what they believe as value to the product . . . when all that was needed was a different finish on the steelbook and a polite "No" to the lenticular.
Another option could surely be to sell the steelbook (in a gloss finish) . . . with the lenticular sold separately for a couple of quid . . . no negative comeback and no returns for a scratched finish caused by the magnet as the two items were sold separately.

As for glossy lenticular steelbooks I'm supposing there's a very, very good reason why they don't do them as a matter of course - and, no, not for any artistic reasons (lol) but for practical (?) reasons - and maybe someone can make it known if there were significant returns for, say, LOOPER (France) and for any of the other glossy lenticular steelbooks due to fine scratches to the finish caused by the taking off and putting back on of the lenticular.

Lenti's kinda gross, but I'm not a fan of them in general. Steelbook in general is really nice, almost (ALMOST!) makes up for them screwing up my Thor order years ago.

I lot of people complaining about the lack of gloss. I agree it would have been better to have gloss over the lenti but all I've done with all mine is put them all in plastic sleeves so no matter what the finish, they all appear glossed when on display. I don't always like to pay the cost of a premium release but for these I think they'll do nicely. I got rid of the lenti off the ones that had them though as I'm not a big fan of them and prefer without. In my opinion they are better than the standard WWA so I'm happy!
