Since I already have a few copies of this steel (Spain, Germany, Taiwan and France on the way), I'm not too excited for this release anymore. Plus a matte finish. Meh. The gloss on the Spanish copy I opened is awesome. Personally, I would prefer glossy treatment to a matte steel with a title and a helmet on Cap's head. I'm still supporting steels in the US by purchasing this but these are just my two cents.

What tha hell did they start doing instore pickups early? If so im truly pissed but im off so I will be there axs soon as the door open to get this. But I see people talking about something called Destiny.Is this a videogame?

Yes, Destiny is a video game having a midnight release. While people are there, they can also pickup other things, like Captain America 2 steelbook

Just got my orders in the mail today, all shipped in the dreaded plastic bags! After quick inspection, the copies appear to be ok but some people are going to get denters due to BB's craptastic packaging.

Anyone in Southern California interested in having their copy of Marvels: Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Set signed, Chloe Bennett (Skye) plans to be getting drunk at the Santa Monica Pier on September 23rd. There is some sort of gig there that evening. Going by her last night there 2 weeks ago, she will be paralytic.

It was a joke. The lyrics that popped out at me was
"San Jo', we go Hard in the Paint ninja, **** what you think ninja" or something like that.

Looks like I'll be trying to get this exchanged tomorrow...

That said, the finish on the shield seems nice. Very shiny.

EDIT: Followed-up with customer service to see if a store could hold one for me to exchange tomorrow, and the rep said none of the stores were showing as having stock. Not sure what this means for tomorrow. My guess is they're holding back until tomorrow, but she seemed to think it meant all the stock was preordered
