Whispers elsewhere are that different art/possible finish have been submitted to Disney for the US and I would imagine Canadian version too! Fingers tightly crossed.

It's quite obvious that the zavvi "exclusive" will be the same as Thor 2,no title and a pictured spine. The UK is a European country,and even though they speak English,there will be a generic European wide release with different language J cards.
Hopefully USA/Can will be the steelbook design that the UK should have gotten,just like Thor 2

This was my first international Steelbook purchase.

I've only been collecting steelbooks for about a week or two. Three times this week, I had to wake up and apologize to my wife for dreaming about them.

This could be dangerous for my marriage.

Took Thor 2 a while to sell out and even then it comes and goes.

It's definitely not going to be hard to find, eBay is littered with them and not much more than cost and they aren't selling.

Caps art isn't great but it's better than Thor 2's that's for sure.

My guess is that Zavvi will be very reluctant to update the art now that Future Shop and Best Buy versions have been announced, and the whispers are that they will have exclusive art different from the rest. It will see loads of cancellations again forcing them to remove "sold out". It will sell out eventually but after the disaster with Thor 2 and the fact the eBay sellers have been left with many that they can't sell it won't sell out as quick.

I don't believe Thor 2 was close to 6k copies though. I wouldn't cancel this and be found wanting later on.

If the UK one is identical to the tens of thousands of copies available in other countries, that 6000 figure is meaningless. Zavvi never do anything to make their releases of worldwide steelbooks unique.

Not sure you'll find this much cheaper buying it from another country. Anyway I was just pointing out the J-card will set it apart from other countries. Some collector's cherish that sort of thing. I couldn't care less.
