I keep seeing this artwork and got all my fingers and toes crossed that they keep it.... but you just know they won't!

Are you high?

Wish I was lol I might've enjoyed the movie more! I'll put my opinions in spoilers so avoid if you haven't seen the film yet cause I'll spoil a lot!! Also don't read if you loved the movie cause you'll wanna punch me!
SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS!!!!!

The story was just uninteresting to me, the action was, although good, forced to me, like I just had to accept what was happening without caring why. The villain was less than impressive, for being the title of the movie he was barely in it. Run a bit, throw a couple punches, insert generic back story in a 2 minute scene here, oh look I'm a good guy now. Twists were predictable apart from fury but then it wasn't a twist. A bit too coulsen-esque Robert redfords character was just unnecessary and hollow to me. Could've just had winter soldier play his part and have him getting spies into shield, at least it would've given him a bit more screen time. That bit where the senator dude from iron man was all "hail hydra", come on, I think everyone in the cinema rolled their eyes at that bit!

I know I'm a small majority but I just didn't enjoy this movie, and I really tried!! :( funnily enough many people hated iron man 3 and I loved it! Loved Thor 2 aswell. Oh well can't like em all I guess!

Too bad. zavvi are going to loose a bunch of money again, like they did with Thor Dark World if this is another non-titled abortion :movie:

The Thor: Dark World steelbook never dropped in price though (as far as I'm aware) and has now sold out, so they wouldn't have lost any money. Same with Frozen... another titleless steel and yet it still sold out at RRP.

I think I'm the only one who don't like this temp art. But then I prefered the thor temp art so I can never win lol. I hope they change this. Only good thing is scarlet :)

Exactly. See these comments in numerous threads but if it sold out without a decrease in price whether it takes a day or a year they dont lose money

So do I, but I'm not holding my breath. Once it is confirmed that it's another plain steel I'll cancel my orders. Hopefully the US/CA version will be the same as Thor DW which was gorgeous.

Yeah. I really liked the design of the Iron Man 3 and Thor: Dark World steelbooks but having them title-less was just stupid. Disney seems to be doing title-less steelbooks all the time nowadays in Europe.

Iron Man 3 isn't title-less though; it has a titled spine. While I'm of the opinion that steels should have a title on the spine, as that is how they would be stored and browsed (in a non-displayed collection), I think that a title on the front is not a necessity.

It's a case-by-case thing, though. Iron Man's glowinthedark-electro-heart-thingamajig is fairly iconic, and certainly to fans of the franchise easily recognisable. As an image it embodies the central character and the film well enough that having a title on the front in addition is unnecessary, and potentially overkill. The title on the spine means that when you can't see the front, you can still easily pick it out from a shelf/stack/whatever. The execution of the actual steel left a lot to be desired, but it was conceptually sound.

It doesn't work for every film though, so don't think I'm advocating no front-titling in perpetuity.

Personally, I couldn't give a monkeys if there's a title on the front or the spine, because I don't display mine and have them stored alphabetically, so know exactly where to look to find what I want.

Anyway...
