As disappointing as this is, let's be honest, we all knew it was coming.

Disney have gone for titleless designs on all their new releases whenever possible, especially if the same steelbook is being offered worldwide (excluding US and CA).

The Avengers, The Lone Ranger, Thor: The Dark World and Frozen have all suffered the same fate. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is following the same pattern, as will (I imagine) any further Disney releases. Don't be surprised in the future to see Malificent, Guardians of the Galaxy, Big Hero 6 and Avengers: Age of Ultron follow suit when the time comes.

If you look at Thor 2 Zavvi, it has now breached the 30+ mark in the bay proving that even titleless Steels with no goodies can do well.

Yes when zavvi reveal the art is the same as the german one worldwide there will be about 6k back in stock

I hope you have seen what happened with Thor 2 Zavvi? It is gone and you can't get it easily for under 30.

most of those buys are probably ebay scalpers buying in bulk.

Im really not a fan of titleless steels and titless spines.

Same here and i dont have plan to buy and sell it in ebay. I will buy for collection

Definitely gonna be a hard buy in my opinion.

I'm going to be buying this from Finland like the rest of the Disney-made MCU steelbooks. It's cheaper here, usually between 20-25€ and it has a lot more subtitle options. I'm actually not that disappointed with the title-less spine and front. Sure it sucks but I knew it was coming the day they announced this steelbook. It's Disney and they don't care about the feedback of their own paying customers.

I'm hoping for a nice future shop release with Debossed title like Thor 2(or embossed) & will join a group buy for that, I don't usually mind titleless steels but I hate the Marvels without titles, I suppose I want SOME kinda consistency with these and the phase 1's (even though the finish on the phase 2's has a lot to be desired)

Yeah I understand how you feel, why temp us with awesome artwork mockup just to take it away. I would rather them just leave it blank

German art has been updated, to titless, title on slip only so the steel will be the same.

I hope they do more of these, I got all the MCU films in steelbook, well all sadly besides Iron Man films as they only did a paramount release of IM/IM2 that I am aware of

Well, the UK had Thor: The Dark World, Germany had Thor: The Dark Kingdom. Same steelbook, different J-cards. AFAIK, the rest of the world (except the US and CA) got the same steelbook. The same goes for The Avengers/Assemble. Same steelbook worldwide. I can't name a single country that got an Avengers steelbook (and I do mean steelbook) with the title on it.

This will be the same. You know it, and I know it. It's the Disney way.
