Its always best if you have a discount code do your order and only after you see its status as been processed
You then cancel an older order
That way if you did not manage to get to finish checkout you still have your older order

This is why we should never hold Zavvi to anything. I had my hopes up for Captain America and the Indy set, and now I'm disappointed I won't receive them for a while yet. Why is it they decided almost 70% our pre-orders should be released in August? Pocahontas, The Rescuers, Indiana Jones collection, The Deer Hunter, Unknown, 30 Days of Night, Cliffhanger, Copland, The Toxic Avenger and Captain America 2 :jawdrop:. They went overboard this month. Is it any surprise they've ran out of boxes already?

I feel sympathetic for the warehouse staff more than ever this month. Do us a favour and take on these

Their excuses are an insult. Delaying orders because THEY were stupid enough to release too many titles in the same week is beyond unacceptable.

still boycotting them, their now current boxes are still a joke, I just hope Maleficent will be released by other countries as I want a steel but rater order an Amaray than purchasing from them.

it's been my 5th online request to be removed from their mailing list and I somehow get put back on it everytime, the first 3 times I made the request with them I stayed on them, 4rth and 5th times I was removed but put back on after a while that is not counting the 3 I did by myself from the email to unsubscribed, it's almost harassment

It can't be a staffing issue as I ordered 2 in-stock Disney steelbooks yesterday evening and they dispatched last night (presumably in white boxes). I think Zavvi don't have this in stock yet. They do have a happy knack of sending Disney animated classic steelbooks out days before release, so Disney might have decided (I'm pretty sure like they did with Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World) to not even get the stock to Zavvi until Monday. The email about posting on the 20th might be to give them a couple of days to process them and get them out.

With Disney playing hardball with Amazon, and they did it years ago with Blockbuster (they wanted £40 per rental copy of titles you could buy the same day for £15 to own) I think they're at least partly to blame.

I'll just wait. We're so used to getting things early it's become 'the norm' but every once in a while, things just happen.

I preordered the Rocket Raccoon Pop vinyl figure for release on September 30th, it got dispatched last night. This is due out on Monday and nothing!

Im very dissapointed with zavvi with this one, it just makes no sense dispatching it after release, this company is probly one of the worst ive experienced when shipping items for release day.

Oh man I am so disappointed. The whole world in now in jeopardy due to Captain America showing up late. What a disaster as Zavvi ruined our weekend by not shipping on time. My entire family is now mourning in sorrow. [emoji27]

To be honest I'd rather they were released on the date they say so I can keep tabs on what money I'm spending. I'm sure like a lot of people here, they are getting caught out by early deliveries and money coming out way too early.

whatever the reasons, i ordered 2 Indy's and a Cap 2, have received an email about Temple of Doom, NO EMAIL relating to Cap 2 or Raiders. Simply not good enough.

Im sure it isnt Zavvi's fault for not getting them in time. They are the only UK retailer selling this so there is not much we can do, we just have to wait. Dont get me wrong i am dissapointed that i wont have this on release day, but im not to fussed that it will be a couple of days late. Im just glad that i managed to secure a copy of this.

Lets just all chill now and just wait. As i said, theres not much we can do. If you dont want to wait then just buy the amaray.
