I'm not in the US so the only way I can get these is either ebay or bluraysforeveryone, and I'm leaning more toward the latter just so I can combine shipping (this is if that site does offer them, it's not up there yet). Does anyone have any other ideas at all? I have a friend in the US who does send me things sometimes, but I can't really ask her to fluff around and get all five covers from Walmart for me. Plus I'd want them mint so I'd rather get it from someone who's just as obsessed with this as me.

your not weird at all buddy, i think we all do that in stores. Eventually they'll be greeting you like this:
imo the slips will be harder to get if they dont have each one listed on their site (so no shipping and no in store pick up.) Best buy is usually really good activating their in-store pick up a couple of nights before release (dont remember if they keep the limit of 1) and they still have shipping options
i think this time around ill be more focused on the slips instead of steels since i stopped collecting steelbooks for the most part

That's the hard part, because its hard to find more than one perfect copy at times, and maybe it would require you to advance the $ to the hunter-for- hire. Plus the bluray-boutny-hunter would have to be smart enough, or know you well enough to know which items are in acceptable condition for YOU. Plus it's a labor of love that can be a real pain in the ass lol
Im too much sometimes, even for myself. I would hate to run into someone like me when Im out Blu ray hunting. Id probably get into a fist fight.
True story - The other day, when Target released all those metalpaks, I got a shopping cart and took every last copy off the shelf. Like 6 or 7 different titles, a dozen copies of each. I stacked them carefully into my shopping Cart. I straight up cleared the shelf.
Some old guy was giving me dirty looks, and asked me if I was going to buy them all. To which I replied "No" and walked away. I would have followed me, which could have led to a physical confrontation.
I marched over to the electronics counter, and I put a stack on the counter. I explained to the clerk that I wanted a cherry copy and Im picking the best one. He just shrugged. He knew me, actually.
I have the most OCD sealed/mint set of the last wave of Target Metalpaks than probably anybody HERE @ HDN. I repeated the process at about 4 stores, and I never did find acceptable copies of Xmen Origins: Wolverine or First Class. I skipped Robocop. Since all these titles are doubles dips and staying sealed (possible investment copies), my standards for acceptable condition are through the roof = must be Collector's Grade A, something that I myself would buy and Im SUPER PICKY.
In all I managed to grab: SEE PICS....
I'd want them mint so I'd rather get it from someone who's just as obsessed with this as me.

I really do hope we get all 5 versions here in Canada, currently Walmart.ca only shows the Cap one. The Winter Soldier one looks like it'll go nicely with the Target exclusive Loki cover for Thor. But can't go wrong with the Black Widow one. Actually, the Cap cover is the only one I don't care for.
Yeah, I still definitely want the steel and I love all these covers, but I'm thinking maybe I should just stick with the SB as it's got all the pictures from the covers (except the Cap one) on the back and inside anyway . Plus, what am I going to do with multiple copies? I haven't made my mind up yet, but I could see it going that way. Yeah, I don't like the Cap one that much either, I much prefer the SB cover. Although it's better than the normal 3D cover for sure.
I wonder if they're going to do the same thing for Guardians of the Galaxy. Have a different slip for each team member. I would love to have a Rocket Raccoon slip
