As far as I know, the region specification is not always correct from asian retailers.
But even if so, you still can get the movie in amaray from your region and replace the discs.

Hope that "Region A" is an error like most of their releases which are infact Region Free ... only time will tell.

not a big issue considering how many versions I have of this, but still would be nice to get some confirmation from KimchiDVD whether they just have to "state" that it is region A and it is not actually locked like many other releases.

Like @lgans316 said. Disney don't lock Marvel releases. Look back to CA, Thor, Hulk, Guardians. All region free. This will be the same.

I can understand you want confirmation but it would be an incredibly rare move for this to be locked as it will most likey using the same discs from the previous release. Can't see Disney pressing new discs for a re-release.

Snowpiercer is the only Kimchi release I know had problems(only played on Panasonic region b players despite being region free)

can see these disc being region A locked - even though the website always shows region A only - i have about 8 or 9 kimchi's and only Snowpiercer has a problem with playback for my region B players

LOL they probably can't say due to leagal reasons!! I take that as confirmation that it will be region free but legally it should be locked to region A due to international laws on distribution.
