yeah shipping sucks to US. have to be able to do that cheaper. Thankfully we dont have to pay VAT is the only saving grace
This edition must be a lot heavier than King Kong. King Kong shipping was 7.10 pounds for Royal Mail standard non-tracked.
For Casino, the only option is Royal Mail International tracked and signed shipping at 17.60 pounds.

Shipping is $23 to the U.S.o_O
Screw that, I say.

Shipping to US is very expensive, just as it is very expensive for us in the UK to import from the USA ;) For reference, I've just had a quick online quote, and to send a small parcel weighing up to 1KG sent International Tracked/Signed to USA is £17.80 (£17.60 if bought online, so you're even getting the discounted rate lol). If standard non-tracked, £13.80. So the £7.10 you mention sounds very cheap when they shipped Kong, perhaps that was an error and hence it's gone up now and is reflective of Royal Mail actual pricing. Appears they're not even taking into account their own packaging materials too, fyi.

Whereas on Thursday the only shipping option to the USA was Royal Mail Tracked at 17.60 pounds, now there is a Royal Mail Non-Tracked shipping option for 11.65 pounds. Not as good as the 7.10 shipping for King Kong but, at least, better.

Why did they not have this from day one of pre order? As already paid for wondering if they are willing to refund the difference to save a little. Tracking is nice but its extra and getting stuff from zavvi and arrow direct non tracked makes no difference here tracked or non tracked. My halloween is non tracked and mummy is tracked as its only option mummy had.
I await there reply.

How do you protect everythingblu editions? . Is there any kind of steelbookcentral slipcover that works for this? filmarena XL protector works ?

FYI: This might be an error. I just received the following email from EverythingBlu (I didn't even order Casino):
Hello everyone,

Today we have been made aware that there was an error on the store during the pre-order of Casino. This may have resulted in only tracked shipping services being presented and potentially at one rate higher than it should have been.

We ask customers to check their orders and get in touch via [email protected] if you think you are affected and we will gladly check your orders for you.

PLEASE NOTE: Order numbers from 7193 AND HIGHER should not be affected and with UK orders being free, these are also not effected.

We apologise for this error and the store has now been corrected.

Sent them an email and they responded with a £2.00 refund...but when I checked shipping to USA by adding 1 to the Cart it shows £5.95 should be refunded. £17.60 charged originally...now £11.65. Sent another email. Gotta watch these guys carefully!
No they are correct, if you want the tracked shipping still the cost is £2 back. If you want to go to untracked then it would be only £11.65. You would need to be specific on which shipping option you want

Yes you’re correct...but when I placed my original order only that Highest shipping charge £17.60 was offered...no option For untracked. That’s why they sent the email...no other options were offered.

And...they refunded £3.95 more...down to £11.65 Royal Mail untracked. Total refund of £5.95 about $8.00.
King Kong was only £7.10 shipping untracked to USA. Now shipping is £11.65 for untracked to USA. Both King Kong and Casino appear to
be about the same size and weight. I wonder why the shipping for Casino is now £4.55 more than it was for King Kong. Did Royal Mail rates
really go up that much is so short period of time?

But now, with the release date, will the 11th. of November, it will be interesting how this will effect my order after a possible Brexit. o_O
If you are based in EU you will be ok as you have already paid Vat when ordering
UK leaving EU does not affect orders done before they leave as long as you already paid vat when ordering.

If UK leave EU with no deal that is when UK retailers might start to not apply Vat on orders where customer based in EU
If UK leave with a deal all EU rules will still apply until at least 31st December 2020
