I think you will find it is streaky, just another Universal letdown. Could have sworn this was an Arrow release when I first looked closely at it, I miss the old days when Universal used to knock it out of the park.

You must be blind @virkia , that´s one heck of a streaky matte crap finish as hell, just look above De Niro´s head ....oh man what a dull looking steelbook again, for such a masterpiece of a movie ......should have pass on this and grab the old horizontal one with debossed title instead....

totally agree. cheap and nasty finish. universal steels always turn out like this

Another thing guys, be real careful with it as the paint flakes easily.
If you really need this I’d advise to buy it in something like EB’s edition so at least it’s boxed.....and hidden lol

This thing is you can look at the old horizontal edition by Universal and the quality is light years better.

Thanks for the info . . . as much as I dig the design the ROW finish doesn't look great although the film certainly does (according to reports I've read) .... looking at it closer I've seen worse but I can see what u mean - with the light on it looking like a large fingerprint:-

No excuse for ^ . . . not as if Universal don't instruct good quality matte steelbooks when they wish:-
