This Tuesday, we’re traveling back in time to behold two very different cinematic classics, Metropolis and Chinatown!
Fritz Lang’s Metropolis helped blow open the door to sci-fi movies, and just under a hundred years later we’re still celebrating the foundational film. Raid’s print captures the art deco aesthetics of the film with a bold and unique composition befitting the stunning and historical film. Raid’s print also features appropriate German titling and credits for the expressionist classic!
We’re teaming up with our new friends at The Parallax Poster Corporation to release a small allocation of Laurent Durieux’s fantastic prints for Chinatown! Laurent’s print takes the Jack Nicholson and Faye Dunaway neo-noir tale and interprets it as a stunning, mysterious, and sleek screen printed alternative movie poster. As always, Laurent’s colors offer a dreamy palette that lends itself perfectly to screen printing! Please note that these prints arrived with some slight damage to one corner. We have applied a discounted price to account for the corner damage.
