The scenario is much like the Halo games (I think, I don't play Xbox lol), an Alien invasion has come to Earth and you are a "Master Chief" in the Worldwide Military Force. You get to choose any 3 people to be your squadmates (preferably use famous people, dead or alive, so that everyone knows who they are, but if you want to throw in a sibling or someone like that it's fine). Who are your choices, the fate of Earth depends on it
