For me it has to be Saving Private Ryan. It still hits me emotionally the same way as it did the first time I saw it. Also was the last movie I watched with my mum before she passed away, she absolutely loved it, I remember seeing tears in her eyes afterwards.

I personally love Poltergeist and also The Colour Purple was fantastic - not what most would probably go for tbh.

I think the wife's is Twister though! :S
