The Nolan trilogy is by far the best thing to happen to Batman and Cinema in a long time. Its a tough decision between DK and DKR, and while Batman Begins was amazing, The sequels are superior. I will have to go with The Dark Knight Rises as my favorite, as it ties in the previous 2 films flawlessly and gives us an ending that is unparalleled.

Tough choice but for me it has to be Rises...

The Joker is the stand out individual performance of this era of film IMO.. But as a film I feel that The Dark Knight was too complex or rather overly complex.

Rises hit the ground running and was easy to follow, great acting all round and superb set pieces. The ending of the Trilogy is one if the best endings to a film I've seen.. Bettered only by The Sixth Sense and The Usual Suspects.

I love all 3, but the end pips it for me

Just wish there was more
