Night of the Hunter

Recently watched "Night of the Hunter" - Wow what an excellent film, the cinematography in B&W is incredible. Then on the extras, to see how some of the scenes were just created on a soundstage. As with all Criterion's, the extras are fascinating, but especially so is the 2hrs plus film which shows the director (Charles Laughton) at work, what a perfectionist!

I just can't recommend this strongly enough.
