They Listened I gave them Hell for not including the extras

I missed 3 messages from them saying they updated the release to drop the DVD Film Disc and replaced this with the DVD Extras Disc instead

I wish all companies responded and listened that quick to your complaints

This June, Arrow Video will be celebrating its 5 year anniversary with a host of special announcements being made in the coming weeks to commemorate its 5th birthday!

To kick the celebrations off, 6 x specially re-packaged SteelBooks will be released exclusively via Zavvi starting on 23rd June with the release of Maniac Cop and followed by Day of the Dead on the 30th June. Shortly thereafter Arrow Video will release Black Sunday, Inferno, City of the Living Dead and Phenomena as part of this special commemorative SteelBook re-issue.

In one of these Limited Edition SteelBooks, we will place a Golden Ticket, for which one lucky fan will win the entire Arrow Video back-catalogue and all upcoming 2014 titles*.

This will be followed throughout the year with a host of further celebrations including talent-led fan-events, unique merchandise and exciting interactive competitions for fans to take part.

i think this golden ticket will make sealed copies highly valuable in a few months or years.
everybody will want to see if he/she's the lucky winner, so most copies are going to be opened.

You do know its very easy to re seal any steelbook most major Records/DVD/Blu-ray shops have a shrink wrap machine

A lot Stickers comes off easy and can be put back on


Only way for any steelbook to be really 100% original sealed is if it has a unique type of seal wrapping or unmovable sticker


In regard to these steelbooks I don't see them been highly valuable except the one that is opened and the lucky winner has a increased collection with great releases and get free the rest of 2014 new releases

Not possible. Arrow are a UK distributor and can only include coloured or b&w.

But then again they really don't need to re-release more Romero titles!

You do know its very easy to re seal any steelbook most major Records/DVD/Blu-ray shops have a shrink wrap machine

most major movie shops might have the ability to re-seal products, most customers (including me) don't.

Pre-ordered last night after seeing that George A Romero will be signing at London Film and Comic con that im going to in july only downside is this is released monday 14th july and the comic con date iv booked is the 13th!....really hope zavvi ship it early and I get it on the friday or saturday!

Honestly, don't count on it! I would've thought Arrow will have a stall there, and if this doesn't sell out before LFCC they may have copies to buy at the show
