tbf despite what I said this will looking stunning in hand as it'll sure to have some very nice embossing and a glossy finish as per FA's other recent WEA releases

i can see totally why some will not, but i like it , and it goes well with the first FAC box (although i didn't get that). unusually, i like the garishness. reminds me of this cartoony segment of the original teaser, too!

I think that's the problem for me.

They should have went with one style or the other all over. Mixing the two looks awful IMO.

I think the style fits the film perfectly. Isn't this what steelbook collecting is all about? originality? We don't want the usual poster art for every single steelbook released.
For a film like Deadpool where it breaks the fourth wall, is completely unpredictable and throws at you comical gaffs throughout then a steelbook like this is perfect. Throw in
some gloss and embossing and here we have a very original, and no doubt stunning, steelbook. Compare this to the WWA of the first film and there is such a difference.
The first one was nice, but this is nice too in a completely different style, pushing the boundaries further. You can look at it and be like "Haha, that's Deadpool" rather than
"WTF are they doing?"
