Quite honestly some of us don't care that much about the release dates and whether it ships out the second they said it would. Given many people here have been dealing with these "delays" for several years, the only people who look bad are the idiots constantly complaining about it. People here literally have *no* idea what these companies go through to release these, so it would be nice if we didn't have to listen to the bitching and moaning. Every. Single. Time.

What the companies go through??
It seems part and parcel with premium steelbook's. However you would think after multiple releases they would be able to give an accurate date, you know: learning from experiences and all that.

Let's not call other members "idiots" for voicing their opinion.

No offence but when a company is holding onto your money for months you expect a good level of service. The 'service' shouldn't stop the moment you have pre-ordered something. More and more often there are delays now and just because it occurs and it's out of our hands doesn't make it right. Lets say a company holds onto your money then gives you a shipping date... but then delays it... no update for ages... then gives a new shipping date... more delay... as a customer you are paying for a product and a service to go with it, not just a product.
By your logic we should be able to flip this on its head then and instead have all the companies make the steelbooks first, get them all ready for shipping and then take our orders and money at the very end. Boom! Everybody wins right?
But no... we know that won't ever happen because that's not how it works now, is it? So if people complain I can absolutely understand why. Sometimes delays bother me and other times they don't, and that's partly to do with getting regular updates, who is GB host, the amount of delays etc.

If these companies sole purpose is to exist to create and sell steelbooks, and a batch number THEY pick and choose to release, then they should be sh*t hot at what they do every step of the way.

You said yourself delays have been around for years... well, surely there's room for improvement and expectation of that like ANY business?

So you're saying you're happy to pay in full for an item and don't care waiting for months + plus a guaranteed yet unknown period of delay to get your item shipped/delivered. .. And I'm the idiot? Lol.

With dipping standards/expectations like that from customers then why would they strive to meet their release date goals - and that goes for any company in any industry
