Dolby Vision makes no difference to me because I have a Samsung OLED. If DV isn't done well, or it's on a cheap TV, it can be blown out of the water by HDR10 on a top OLED, even if it's static metadata.

I definitely have more than one movie with Dolby Vision that doesn't say it does on the box.

Yeah I know Disney used to do some with Dolby vision like the last jedi 4k but I meant generally they don't. Things like the 4K's for snow white, the nightmare before Christmas and hocus pocus too name a few didn't have Dolby vision on the 4K disc but with Deadpool and wolverine the US seem to be getting that 4K with Dolby vision but if you check the images for the UK release on Zavvi the back cover doesn't mention the UK release having Dolby vision. This is what Zavvi had up for the standard 4K.

Yeah it's a preference, a lot of 4K's look just as good without it. I guess because the DV 4K's I had looked to me visually better I just prefer it a bit more than the standard HDR10 but that's just me

If you're comparing on a top TV then I've noticed the deeper colour that DV produces from it being 12bit. DV tends to be a bit darker though and that can put some people off. I don't think I'm missing out on much.

I don't consider mock ups to be in anyway a reliable source of information especially technical information. Just look at the recent shambles that was the info page for The Fall Guy.

Delete your saved card details.

Re-enter them at checkout, don't save them. Never had a failed payment since not saving card details with HMV.

Do you have money on the account? Sometimes they do an authorisation charge to check the card is active.

It happens on new listings, and varies between how long it goes on for, you can either pay by paypal now, or re enter card details and it should work.
it's some silly bug with saved cards and new pre-orders, its really annoying.

Yeah never use saved cards. I alway input the details on every order. Also I have issues on iPhone so that may be an issue for some too. Have to use my sh!tty tablet

I’ve literally ordered hundreds of Steelbooks from HMV and never once had them cancel an order. Perhaps I’m just lucky, Zavvi have cancelled 2 orders in 10 years

I’m not going to risk it. Because if you use a code it becomes void if the payment don’t work or the screen don’t load. Can’t reuse it even though I’ve not technically used it

Pay with PayPal, you pay straight away but at least you know it's done and that there's going to be no hiccups.
